The problem
This galley kitchen is the first thing you see when you walk into the house, and the cabinets were outdated, dark, and not using the space to its full potential.
What we did
We removed every cabinet and started fresh, taking the uppers all the way to the ceiling for more storage and to draw the eye up. When cabinets stop short of the ceiling, the ceiling actually reads lower than it is. The inspiration was a minimalist European kitchen: cashmere cabinets with a quartz countertop veined in subtle gray and gold.
